Artist's Statement
Hey Everyone! My name is Alexandra Gunn. I am a professional illustrator with a Bachelor degree in Illustration and design from UMASS Dartmouth (graduated in 2014). At the moment, I am 23 years of age. I have 7 goldfish, a betta fish, two african clawed frogs, a bearded dragon and a crested gecko. If I hadn't decided to be an artist, I probably would have had a career with something to do with animals (most likely herpetology). I did the smart thing, and combined my two loves together. I want to be an animal scientific illustrator. I want to draw animals for a living, for books, for magazines, for websites! I am open to commissions, and I will do my best to draw whatever you want.
